Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 2, 2026

At SynaptiQ, we respect your privacy. This policy explains in plain language what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We align our practices with the spirit of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India.

1. What Data We Collect

  • Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your email address, name, and basic profile information (such as your target exam and class year).
  • Learning Progress: We securely store your quiz scores, mock test attempts, saved flashcards, and question logs to provide you with a personalized dashboard and accurate analytics.
  • Usage Analytics: We collect anonymized app usage data to understand which features are popular and to fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is strictly used to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the SynaptiQ platform.
  • Personalize your learning experience (e.g., spacing flashcards, recommending chapters).
  • Process payments securely (via our payment gateway).

We will NEVER sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party marketers or advertisers.

3. Sub-processors (Firebase & Analytics)

We use Google Firebase to securely authenticate users and host our database (Firestore). Your account credentials and learning data are stored on their highly secure infrastructure. We do not use third-party tracking pixels to follow you across the web.

4. Children's Privacy

Because SynaptiQ is an educational app, many of our users are students under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with information without their consent, they should contact us immediately so we can delete the account.

5. Data Export & Deletion

You have full control over your data. If you wish to export your learning progress or permanently delete your account and all associated data, you can do so directly from your Settings page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

6. Contact Us for Privacy Requests

If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, wish to report a vulnerability, or need to exercise your data rights under the DPDP Act 2023, please reach out to our privacy team at [Contact email].
